Live Isochrysis Phytoplankton

Live Isochrysis Phytoplankton is a small golden-brown flagellate commonly used in the aquaculture industry.

Our standard standard culture gives a high concentrate of approx 0.6 million cells per ml. 

Live Isochrysis is high in DHA and often used to enrich zooplankton such as rotifers or brine shrimp (artemia) and will not cloud your tank or clog your filters.

Isochrysis is ideal for Fish, Shrimp, Oysters, Clams, Mussels, and Scallops and is very important in the development and growth of larval fish, shrimp, and shellfish

Feeding Directions: For medium stocked aquariums,  feed 1ml per 22 gallons or 100L

Live Isochrysis can also be:

1. Used for DHA enrichment of rotifers. It is also a good size for feeding brine shrimp and copepods.

2. Used for DHA enrichment, (DHA Docosahexaenoic Acid) an omega-3 long chain polyunsaturated fatty acid produced only in brown algae (Isochrysis). DHA is one of the building blocks of neural tissue.

Live Isochrysis is supplied in an easy store transparant pouch with a resealable pouring spout.

We culture our own live Isochrysis on our premiss in the UK under computer controlled conditions and can supply any quantity for customers seeking larger volumes.

1 Hour Timed Delivery from Interlink Express (We text* and email you when your parcel will be delivered)

Our cut off point for courier items is 3pm. We don't want our customers waiting in all day for their parcels to turn up which is why we use Interlink Express "Estimated" delivery service with a one hour delivery window. Your order will be delivered the next day from the date of dispatch. Our dispatch days are Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday's  unless otherwise stated when you choose your shipping option at the checkout.

This product is available to be shipped via our international delivery partner Fedex. We use Fedex international priority service which means your live food will reach you within 1 to 3 working days from dispatch for most european destinations.
