Dried Egg Yolk

Most egglayer fry are too small to eat baby brine shrimp when they first hatch so other alternatives must be used. Usually the fry can be fed pulverized flake food, infusoria, micro worms, and rotifers.

Powdered egg yolk can be added to a tank by sprinkling it directly on top of the water or mixing it with water before pouring it into the tank, if you sprinkle the yolk directly on top of the water it remains suspended for a short time before dropping to the bottom of the tank.  


This is spray dried egg yolk with nothing added & nothing taken away. This is a fantastic food for fry of egglayers especially those with small fry. Our Egg Yolk provides great results and we had a real job finding it again without additional vitamins or minerals.

Just a little egg yolk powder goes a long way.
